Pure Luck builds: Weapons that don't scale well naturally have potentially the most to gain from using a luck build. You will need to do some farming to get this greatsword. As far as I can tell, the Luck scaling is almost always in the high B to low A range. get an off hand shield or anything and apply a hollow gem on it. You can infuse shields with Hollow as well. This guide is aimed at new players who may have never heard of luck scaling, as well as veterans who dont feel like experimenting in untreaded waters. 1. use weapons with natural bleed like the warden twin blades or katanas and fuse with Hollow, and acquire Carthus rogue for extra bleed build up. Home. Use pontiff's right eye ring in your build. If you want to go with a "pure" luck build, you only need to invest 20 Levels into your weapons damage, leaving a whopping 100 levels to invest in Vit/Vig/End and/or weapon level requirements. I just stick with the base 7 VIT because there's not much reason to invest in VIT when heavy armor is so useless and rolling tends to outperform blocking. well look at this! (heres the guide: hit r1 a lot) For the purpose of simplicity, I will assume that you are playing a deprived, but everything still applies to every starting class. Hollowing in Dark Souls 3 is accumulated when the player dies while branded with a Dark Sigil. This is because of the huge stat requirements. now I wonder: does luck affect frost build up as well? Hollow is generally more effective on a dex build, because there are not many weapons that naturally scale highly with strength. If you are new to the game I would also recommend checking out a few other guides: Other Stamina Sorcerer Guides: 1. If you're only gonna two-hand it you can reduce STR to 18 and still equip the Carthus Curved Greatsword 1-handed. I am not sure about the actual numbers, but it seems that very low scaling weapons actually benefit MORE from being infused with hollow than other weapons. I started out as Assassin and changed my idea for the build part way through so I've got a ton of wasted stats, currently sitting at 40 STR, 40 DEX, 40 LUK including bonuses from rings and two Hollow weapons. My favorite build has 40 VIG, 38 END, 30 STR, and 30 LCK with 18 FTH and 18 ATT using Cleric as the starting class. Point for point, even with the ‘free’ 10 Luck from hollowing, investing in Str/Dex is always better at gaining AR/damage than going Hollow/Luck (until max level).
